Subject: Painting your rims with Duplicolor..... Sat Feb 06, 2010 12:06 am
So I painted my stock rims black and I have had several people ask me where I got them painted. I guess i did a good job with them to have people think that i paid a shop to paint them for me. Anyways......the answer to how I learned how to paint the rims is one easy answer...........YOUTUBE!!! lol. Here is a video for those who are interested in painting their rims.
PS: I just bought TL Wheels and am planning to paint them as close as i can get them to takata green. Trying to get it like this car. Let me know what you guys think.
These are the wheels im gonna paint.....what do you guys think? The colors i was thinking was bronze, black with red lip, or "takata" green. Any suggestions?

go with bronze. green is just TOO much. yeah they stand out but ..its to much. i think and the red lip.. lots of si's have that.. i would say gold but with different rims.

Yeah. I would go bronze, but its too low profile and i want something different. And my stock wheels are black with the red lip. So thats why i prefer something different.

I didn't really have a choice. I would have loved to have gotten TL Type S wheels. They look so fucking sexy. But my friend was selling all 4 wheels with tires for only $100. Thats $25 for a wheel with a tire. LMAO. Who would pass that up? lol. And they don't look too bad anyways. They'll look a lot better with new street tires, paint, and a good drop

actually, I think you should experiment with bronze and then green. Your Si wheels would looks SICKKKKKKKKCKCKCKKCKCKC in Takata Green though
